What is WebP and why use it?
WebP is a modern image format by Google that is 25–35% smaller than JPEG at the same visual quality. Most modern browsers support it.
Does JPEG conversion lose quality?
Yes — JPEG uses lossy compression. At 90%+ quality the difference is barely visible. Use PNG for lossless output.
How do I make a favicon (ICO)?

My AVIF output is blank — why?
AVIF encoding is not supported in all browsers yet (Safari and some Firefox versions). We fall back to WebP automatically when AVIF fails.
